No Good Sad without Good Loose. Through painting, Giancarlo Pirelli humorously questions the ambiguity between our inapt identities and our techniques of survival against different types of occidental domination, whether they are social, patriarcal or conjugal. These techno-pharmacopornographical crutches that sustain, protect and hide, have today penetrated our relationships, our imaginaries and our identities.
Good Sad forms this ultra-contemporary Saudade-like state, that's both cyborg and disconnected from time.

Pas de Good Sad sans Good Loose. Par son travail pictural, Giancarlo Pirelli interroge avec humour l’ambiguïté entre nos identités inadaptées et nos techniques de survie à différents types occidentaux de dominations qu’elle soit sociales, patriarcales, ou même conjugales. Ces béquilles d’ordre techno-pharmacopornographique qui soutiennent, protègent & camouflent, ont aujourd’hui pénétré nos affects, nos imaginaires et nos identités.
Good Sad forme cet état proche d’une Saudade ultra-contemporaine à la fois cyborg et déconnecté du temps.
